WMBatPPC is a battery monitor for Apple PowerPC-based laptops, in the form of a WindowMaker dockapp; it can also be used as a swallowed app in the GNOME panel.
WMBatPPC uses Xosd to display the battery status periodically. From the command-line, WMBatPPC can be called as batppc to get the battery information.
